Dr. Marion Joseph Stoj

Marion Joseph Stoj, M.D. is an honors graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut – where he was a two-time All American soccer player and team captain – and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington.
Dr. Stoj completed his internship at Hartford Hospital and his residency in ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City. He completed his Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey.
Dr. Stoj is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology, at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he has served in the retinal clinic. Dr. Stoj is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has served as the chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals (Eastern Connecticut Health Network) from 2000-2007. He is author of many medical and scientific papers.

Jerry Neuwirth, M.D., is an honors graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and the State University of New York at Brooklyn, Downstate Medical School.
Dr. Neuwirth completed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and a residency in ophthalmology at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia-Presbyterian, where he also served as chief resident. He completed a Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Dr. Neuwirth is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Peter H. Judson, M.D, is a high honors graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and Cornell University Medical College in New York City.

Dr. Andrew J. Packer

Andrew J. Packer, M.D., is a summa cum laude graduate of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey and Columbia Medical School in New York City.
Dr. Packer completed his medical internship at New York Hospital, his residency in ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (Harvard Medical School), and was a Vitreo-Retinal Fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He had served on the full-time faculties of the University of Iowa College of Medicine and Louisiana State University School of Medicine (in New Orleans), and is currently a Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Dr. Packer is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a recipient of the Senior Achievement Award from that organization and represents Connecticut on the Academy Council.

Michael Ruddat M.D.

Michael S. Ruddat, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
Dr. Ruddat completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin, where he also completed an ophthalmology residency and served as chief resident. Thereafter, D. Ruddat completed a Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship at the University of Michigan’s W.K. Kellogg Eye Center.
Dr. Ruddat is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has served as a clinical instructor and lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology, at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he also served in the retinal clinic.
Dr. Ruddat currently serves as Vice-Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Hartford Hospital. He has authored several medical papers and contributed to the publication of two retinal textbooks.
