We provide clinical evaluation for all retina conditions; Diabetic retinopathy, Macular Degeneration,  Our evaluation utilizes the latest imaging technologies such as widefield OCT-A and fundus photography to best determine your disease, prognosis, and treatment.

Our doctors perform intravitreal injections ('eye injections') on a daily basis using a comfortable injection method (with plenty of anesthesia!) to reduce discomfort. We understand the anxiety-provoking nature of the procedure and strive to provide a seamless experience. 

As a tertiary retinal practice, we also have access to all the latest treatments, including Vabysmo, High-dose Eylea, Syfovre, and Xipere.

As the only ocular oncology service in the state of Connecticut, our practice offers evaluation for all kinds of eye 'tumors' including choroidal nevus, choroidal hemangioma, choroidal melanoma, and metastases to the eye. Under the leadership of Dr. Scott Walter - an ocular oncology trained specialist - our service sees the most eye cancer cases in the state of CT. 

Uveitis occurs in patients with recent surgery, trauma, history of eye infection, and autoimmune disease. Our specialists are comfortable with the local treatment of eye inflammation and work closely with their rheumatology colleagues to ensure complete care for your condition. 

Vitrectomy surgery is the process of removing the internal jelly of the eye - called vitreous - in order to access, repair, and treat the retina. While most retina practices are well-versed in vitrectomy surgery, our practice also provides the following additional specialized surgical treatments.

A genetic disorder can be a stressful possibility as many of these conditions have no cure. Genetic testing has advanced substantially in the last several years, allowing us to provide in office testing for over 250 eye diseases like Stargardts disease, Retinitis Pigmentosa, and Cone-Rod dystrophies. Genetic testing can help confirm a familial disorder and provide you with a long-term visual prognosis, carrier status for family planning, and clinical trial / treatment options.
